Blue Moon Yoga Fitness is a small and friendly yoga studio in the heart of Deep River. Our classes range in size from five to fifteen people, max, offering participants plenty of one on one attention. Our instructors are well trained, knowledgeable, and safe! We offer Gentle & Restorative Yoga, as well as, warm Power Yoga, and everything in between. We are open seven days a week with morning and evening classes. Special yoga, energy, nutrition, and well-being workshops are presented to this thriving community often. Yoga has been an integral part of my life for the past 15 years. A subtle voice during a time of turmoil guided me to Kripalu where I became a certified yoga instructor. I was immersed in all things yoga for the entire month of June; six to eight hours of yoga, pranayama, and meditation each day woke me up and saved me.
I'm a much happier human being now, grateful each day for THIS LIFE. My Yoga began as a solid asana practice and has since developed into a strong meditation practice. Sitting allows me to listen to something much greater than myself, a higher power. This practice gives me focus and constantly brings me back to COMPASSION for myself and others. The practice in which I guided at Blue Moon Yoga, and now along the CT shoreline, is deeply grounding yet gentle, enabling us to find time to allow the inner wisdom within our bodies to rise above the chatter of our everyday lives.
