Exploring Your Dharma: Yoga & Writing

Join Meredith Dow, Owner of Blue Moon Yoga Fitness in Deep River, CT and Graduate of The University of Connecticut with a degree in English Literature for an end of Summer Yoga & Writing Retreat! This long weekend will take place in a private mansion, RIGHT ON THE WATER, in the beautiful section of Fenwick, CT (Old Saybrook). Imagine jumping right into the cool Long Island Sound after a challenging Yoga practice?! Recommended reading: The Great Work of Your Life by Stephen Cope.

$850 per person--- includes all writing and yoga activities, food and non-alcoholic refreshments, sleeping quarters (most rooms are double occupancy with shared hall baths), and Swag Bags.

Arrival between 4:00-7:00pm
6-7:30pm Dinner (mostly vegetarian, conscious food will be served)
8-9:30pm Welcome session: Gentle movement, Pranayama, Intention Setting, Free write, & Yoga Nidra



6:30-7:30am Morning meditation & Sun Salutations on the lawn
7:30am-9:00am Breakfast
9:30-11:30am Morning Yoga Session (BRING YOUR JOURNAL)
Noon-1:00pm Lunch
1:00-4:00pm Free Block--Walk, Read, Journal, Sun Bathe, Swim, Golf, Paddleboard, Tennis, Shop downtown, etc. 
4:00-6:00pm Afternoon Session: indoor, Yin Yoga & Writing Activity
6:15-7:30pm Dinner
8:00-9:30pm Restorative Yoga and Reiki w/ SPECIAL GUEST Erin Bartolome


Same as above, but "Ice Cream Sundae Bar" immediately following dinner & rather than an evening yoga session, there will be a bon fire on the beach... During the FREE block, we'll have a massage therapist offering 20 minute chair massages and an intuitive healer on site to privately meet with participants (additional fee).
